Holy City Bike Coop Newsletter

Weekly bicycle newsletter including co-op events, relevant public hearings, bike news, and info!

Meeting tomorrow Tuesday 18th at the Main Public Library, 7:30pm

Yes, the Holy City Bike Co-op will be meeting tomorrow evening at 7:30pm at the Main Public Library on Calhoun St. We are meeting in the conference room (first floor).

We've been a little more quiet lately, but that's because we've been working on paperwork to make the HCBC an official non-profit. As soon as that is finished, we'll be back with more great events that further the cause of bicycling in the Charleston area. If you have an idea to accomplish this and need some help, this is the time to get in touch with us.

I-526 Extension Affects Cyclists in Charleston

Dear Charleston cyclists,

The extension of I-526 is especially relevant for cyclists because of the way the interstate will divide communities, make the James Island connector so that we can’t bike on it, and take our focus away from created more functional bike-friendly streets.

Meeting: Tomorrow Tuesday, October 21st at the Main Public Library, 7:30pm

The Holy City Bike Co-op's bi-weekly meeting is tomorrow at 7:30pm in the Main Public Library's conference room.

Agenda: 1) Halloween Costume Contest
2) Monthly Workshop in the Park
3) Membership
4) News and Updates
